I set up RAG knowledge bases for teams buried in internal docs, usually a support or ops group inside a larger tech company that cannot search their own wiki. Standard build is a Pinecone or Supabase vector store wired to Claude or GPT, sitting behind a plain search box or Slack bot. For one Redmond client this replaced a shared drive nobody trusted with an answer that cites its source. I care more about the evaluation step, checking the model is not confidently wrong, than about the demo looking flashy. Remote work, with kickoff meetings on the Eastside as needed.
