I automate dispatch and paperwork for trucking and logistics operators, an industry that runs on phone calls and text messages more than any software vendor admits. A recent build pulls load confirmations from email and text into one place, auto-generates the paperwork drivers need, and pings dispatch if a load looks unassigned an hour before pickup. n8n does most of the routing, with a small agent drafting driver messages for review. Grew up around family trucking business here, so I know where the real friction is, not just the textbook version.
